The Smiling Social Worker

Our school social worker, Mr. Kelvin Wong, passed away 3 days ago. I don't have much interaction with him before, however I still miss his smiling face and hope he will rest in peace. I hope the students will not be too sad about this.

Agnes b Cafe

Went to Agnes b Cafe on Leighton Road with CX friends on Wed. It is a very cosy place for afternoon tea. We had a very good time. I always think my they are the group of friends which I find the easiest to communicate with.

About the food, the tea set is $88+10%! I think it's really expensive for a cake and a coffee.  They offer unlimited refill for the coffee, but how many can you drink?? The coffee tastes great to me, quite strong. For the cake, I chose millefeuille (french for napoleon), we all agreed mine is the best!

1st Wedding Anniversary

Wow.. time really flies.. today is my 1st wedding anniversary. Lo took his afternoon off, we went to watch Shopaholic in PP and then had buffet dinner at Marriott Cafe. The lobsters are so good, I ate at least 3, too full to eat other hot stuffs. I mainly ate seafood (lobsters, oysters prawns, salmon sashimi) and dessert. It was such a peaceful and sweet afternoon, i enjoyed my time a lot with Lo. We agreed to start making baby on next anniversary.. haha see whether we'll change our mind next year.

This week npl is on CR (comprehensive review), everyone is so nervous about it, except me.. 

hehe.. actually I am a bit nervous too, because I might be observed in class.. but the result doesn't matter that much to me.. and I won't be bad anyway.. ;) haha

Connie has been observed today, we then had a big lunch to celebrate in a beautiful French restaurant close to NPL.. It was very nice, though a bit expensive for a lunch in Hung Hom.. 

Busy LO

Lo is really busy these days. He has nonstop working for more than 2 weeks, going back every sat and sun, including today. His company is laying off some of the staff.. I feel that it's so unreasonable. I know the market is poor, but if there is so much work load in his company, that means the business is not really bad at the moment.. but what can you say?? nowadays, you have to thank your company for not firing you!!

sold HSBC at HKD43.xx ... feeling so relieved.. haha (bought at $13x) yeah!

Gianna

My student, Gianna. I like her very much, for several reasons. 1. She is cute 2. She is a very good girl 3. She looks like when I was young...(me not so cute la) haha

That's why I painted her.. but it's quite impossible for me to ask her sit still.. so I basically draw from picture and check with her real person from time to time.. 

The effect is of course much worse than drawing from real person, but as a whole, I like my painting a lot.. 我好想表現出佢嘅天真同埋活潑..

Tokyo Trip Feb 09

Forgot to write about this. I had a wonderful trip with Lo during CNY.

It was so enjoyable, especially at the Kokuyo ryokan in 湯田中.

This is the first time we had hot spring together.. 上一次係箱根的溫泉比較像水上樂園.. 登別果次又要男女分開,自己一個人浸,好鬼悶.. 所以今次豪俾佢,book左私家溫泉房,好正,有機會絕對會再去...

果度成條溫泉街,好多公眾浴場,酒店會俾key,可以任去.. 但由於唔夠時間同怕醜,我地都冇浸, 番到

房先慢慢歎.. haha 

湯田中另一特色景點係上山睇馬騮浸溫泉,有車坐去,點知原來落車仲要行上山成十幾分鐘.上去時下雪,風景非常迷人,但就好難行,攪到"凳"親..

我地都有去東京市區, 但係真係郊區好玩d, 很吸引! 有鄉鎮feel,但又交通方便.. 太好了..
